March 9 | Resisting the Rush: The Power of Slowness in Liberation
sermons – | 9:00am & 11:00am

What if urgency isn’t proof of commitment, but a weight that keeps us from moving freely? What if the speed we equate with justice is the very thing limiting our power? We are taught that caring means rushing, reacting, pushing harder—but urgency alone does not build liberation. It burns us out, fractures movements, and leaves us exhausted inside the very systems we long to change. History tells a different story: the movements that last, the ones that shift reality, are not frantic. They are cultivated. They move at the speed of trust.
This Sunday, we explore a radical possibility: What if the most powerful way forward isn’t faster, but deeper? What if transformation depends not just on action, but on patience, strategy, and relationship?
