Finish The Promise: This Sunday, we celebrate
News –
The energy is palpable! New donations and pledges are pouring in for Finish the Promise. We estimate that we are now 98% of the way to our $1,340,000 goal to pay off First Universalist’s construction loan, with roughly $30,000 to go.
Like everything else we do at First Universalist, we are tackling this goal TOGETHER. Every step in a journey counts, and every dollar in this campaign counts. Whether you can give $1 or $10,000, it matters.
On Sunday, we plan to announce our final dollars. Hopefully we will be able to say we raised the entire $1,340,000, and can celebrate being a debt-free church.
Whether you give now or make a pledge to give later in the church year, your contribution will count toward the match as long as we know about it before our October 4 deadline. Keep in mind that all gifts are fully tax deductible, so you can give through a Donor Advised Fund or a retirement fund if you are eligible.
