Finish The Promise: September 29

We’re almost there! As you know, we received an anonymous challenge match of $80,000 and 73 of you responded with new gifts or payments just in the past week. Thank you! 

We now have only $39,372 left to raise toward our $1,340,000 goal to pay off First Universalist’s construction loan. We are 97% of the way to our audacious goal. This is absolutely incredible. 

We’re close, but not quite there. Please help us cross the Finish Line. 

Whether you give now or make a pledge to give later in the church year, your contribution will count toward the match as long as we know about it before our October 4th deadline. Keep in mind that all gifts are fully tax deductible, so you can give through a Donor Advised Fund or a retirement fund if you are eligible. 

Here’s how you can play a part: 

• Give directly via this online link, being sure you designate it for “Give to Finish the Promise.”
• Send a check or transfer stock to First Universalist. Please let Brad Schmidt (church Finance Manager) know that it’s coming: brad [at] firstuniv.org. 
• Pledge to give via this on-line form.
• Let Rev. Jen Crow or a FTP team member (listed on this link) know of your intentions.
