Welcome to First Universalist Church!
We are a community that welcomes individuals and families of diverse backgrounds and identities — race and ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ability/disability, class, age, citizenship status, and religious backgrounds and beliefs. We nurture spiritual growth in community and we gather in worship to celebrate our connection with one another, with our higher purpose, and with the mystery of life. We are a supportive community that offers care during life’s ups and downs.
JOIN US: We worship Sunday mornings in person at 9 and 11 a.m. and online at 11 a.m. September through May. In the summers, we worship at 10 a.m. both in person and online. Religious Education classes for children and youth are offered September through May, and childcare for little ones is available most Sundays throughout the year. We are located at 3400 Dupont Ave. S. Parking is available on the street and in our lot on the south side of the building. Bus routes 4, 6, and 23 stop within a few blocks of the church building.
SAY HELLO: Fill out our digital Connect Card to tell us more about you and what brings you to First U. A staff member will reach out to you within a couple days with suggestions for ways to learn about Unitarian Universalism, meet folks in the congregation, and start making connections.
DROP-IN VISITOR ORIENTATION: We offer A Place to Start on a couple of Sundays per month. Facilitated by members of our community, First Step is a brief in-person (sometimes online) orientation to our church community and Unitarian Universalism.
QUESTIONS? If you are interested in connecting with a staff member about visiting for the first time, navigating the building, or finding your place in this large and loving church community, please reach out to Membership and Connections Coordinator Liz Farmer at liz [at] firstuniv.org.
