Membership Classes at First U

Become a member of First Universalist by taking the Membership Class. In two sessions, participants get clear on what they personally are committing to as church members, and what a mutual, reciprocal church community commits to them in return. In community, participants explore the practical and spiritual sides of what relevant, sustainable church membership means to them.

Even if you’re a lifelong UU interested in membership, we ask that you take the membership class here as it helps orient folks to First U specifically, gets you in community and conversation with others who are new or new-ish, and it’s always relevant to articulate what engaged, sustainable membership will be for us in our current season.

If the dates on the current registration form don’t work for you, email Liz Farmer (liz [at] firstuniv.org) to be notified of when registration for the next membership class becomes available. Classes are generally offered three times a year: Winter/Spring, Summer, and Fall.
