Informational Event: Saving Energy and Money at Home will be held at Cummins Room
Informational Event: Saving Energy and Money at Home
Save Energy and Money! Warm Your Body and Home! Learn how from an expert from the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Cummins Room. If your home hasn’t been evaluated or it’s been three to five years since the last audit, we encourage you to sign up. An audit includes a visit by a team of experienced energy consultants who thoroughly evaluate your home’s energy use (and the safety of your heating system and water heater) and recommend ways to save energy. They also install a range of energy efficient products, including a programmable thermostat, high efficiency showerheads and a water heater blanket—a $200 value!
This informational event is sponsored by First U’s Environmental Justice Committee. Our program goal is to reduce carbon emissions in at least 20 First Universalist households. Feel free to bring neighbors and friends—and a warm sweater to donate or swap! Cool prizes for pledgers.
