Sundays at First U
Experience moments of transcendence, peace, inspiration and connection as we collectively pursue a deeper understanding of our humanity and the universe. Join us in this sacred space where we speak truth, expand love, envision and actively create a better world.
Join us for worship at 9 a.m. in person or 11 a.m. in person and online most Sundays. Religious Education and childcare are available.
Get a feel for what it’s like at First U on a Sunday morning: watch or listen to past services on YouTube or as podcasts.
How to join us in person
On most Sundays we offer two worship services in person—at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. On some Sundays we will have a single service at 10 a.m.
If you’ll be joining us for the first time in person, our greeters will welcome you and answer questions. If you are visiting with children, stop by our Welcome Station in the atrium for information about childcare and Religious Education classes.
How to join us virtually
We livestream our 11 a.m. service every Sunday. During the summer and on specified Sundays, our single 10 a.m. service is livestreamed.
Tune in via YouTube Live here. The service recordings are available here for on-demand streaming immediately following the service.

How children & youth participate
Children are always welcome to stay with their grownups in the sanctuary! We have special areas with rocking chairs, tables, fidgets and coloring supplies in the sanctuary designed just for you.
We generally offer Religious Education classes for children and youth mid-September through May. Children and youth begin their time at church in the sanctuary with their families before being excused for Religious Education classes part way through the service.
