Welcome to the library!

News –

Did you know that First Universalist Church has our very own library? We do! It is a room of our own, a place—like all good libraries—to slow down, browse the shelves, sit on a comfy chair and delve into a good book.

What do we have, you ask? A selection of wonderful things! We have books for children with a cozy stuffed dog to snuggle into. We have books for teens and a selection of graphic histories for teens and adults alike. Interested in OWL topics, racial justice or environmental justice? We have books to share! Did a poetry selection stir your emotions and light you up? Come see if we have it, and find other poets too! And of course, we have any number of volumes on UU History.

Can you borrow our books? Of course you can! You sign up with one of our wonderful volunteers at the desk. If no one is there when you are, that’s ok. Fill out our brief form. That’s it. You’re in the system. Our books can be borrowed for three weeks. Then you return it to the basket on the desk. Simple.

Our library is here for you, in the northwest corner of the Social Hall. Come indulge your curiosity, expand your horizons, and build community in our cozy space. We’d love to meet you and help you find your perfect next read. Stop on by after both services most weeks and say hi!
