The First U Environmental Justice Team will host a viewing and discussion of the 2020 film “LN3: Seven Teachings of the Anishinaabe in Resistance” on Sunday, May 9 at noon. The film is 38 minutes long. You can watch a trailer for the film here.
This film is about the Ojibwe-led climate alliance to stop the Line 3 tar sands pipeline expansion across northern Minnesota. It threatens more than 41 ancient wild rice beds, the Mississippi watershed, and the largest freshwater lake in the world by surface area. The film will be screened before discussion via Zoom.
