“Selma” Viewing and Discussion
“Selma” Viewing and Discussion
Through our Racial Justice Video and Book Discussion series, we invite you to join us for engaging conversations on race, racism, and whiteness.
On Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., join us for a viewing of the movie “Selma” followed by a discussion. “Selma” chronicles Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s 1965 campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition.
The discussion will be led by Jeff Sylvestre and Channing McKinley. This is a drop-in program (no registration required) that had previously been scheduled for earlier this month. Please bring your own lunch.
