Mental Health Week is Oct. 7–14
This year, recognizing the particular mental health challenges of this time, we’re expanding from a Mental Health Sunday to a Mental Health Week, which will include services on Wednesday, Oct. 7, Sunday, Oct. 11, and Wednesday, Oct. 14.
We know that depression, anxiety, addiction, bi-polar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic, and so many other mental health conditions are with us, are a part of our lives, are a part of the lives of those we love. That is true. That is real. And this time we’re in – election, election debates, climate change, global pandemic, isolation – is not easy.
In a society where mental illness is too often met with stigma, secrets, and fear, this upcoming mental health week and these three worship services embody our commitment to welcoming, affirming, and protecting the light in each human heart.
We are here for you for spiritual and emotional care. If you’re struggling, please reach out to us. And please join us for any of our three worship services during our Mental Health Week: Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
Information about connecting to our worship services can be found here.
