CANCELED: Daytime Connections: “Back in My Day…”
Join us as legendary former Star Tribune reporter Peg Meier shares true stories she has uncovered at the Minnesota Historical Society and other local archives. You’ll hear about a lumberjack in the 1900s; a rambunctious 13-year-old girl who lived on St. Paul’s Summit Avenue in the ‘20s and tales of woe from the Depression era. We often reminisce about growing up in the “old days.” What stories and anecdotes do you carry in your memories that reflect your childhood? We want to hear them!
Please arrive at 10:45 a.m. for sign in and coffee.
Program begins at 11 a.m. and is followed by lunch at 1 p.m. A $5–15 donation for lunch is encouraged; more if you can, less if you can’t. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Through Daytime Connections, older adults empower each other to live intentional, joyful, purposeful, and spiritually fulfilled lives.
Please register below no later than the Monday before the program or by calling 612-825-1701.
