We invite you to join us on Wednesday, April 26, 4 to 8 p.m., for Pledge Day, a celebration of our community that includes dinner, fellowship, bingo, a bouncy house, and more!
A buffet dinner catered by The Sioux Chef, served between 5 and 6:45 p.m., will include smoked turkey, wild rice and roasted vegetables, greens & seeds salad, and cornbread. Kids can enjoy the bouncy house between 4 and 6:30 p.m., and bingo for all ages (with prizes!) begins at 6:30 p.m.
We’ll wrap up the evening with a prize drawing – you could win a $200 gift card to Kitchen Window or a $150 gift card to Parasole restaurants! Everyone who has made their pledge or scheduled their capital campaign visit by the end of Pledge Day on April 26 will get one entry into the drawing. Each household that attends Pledge Day gets a second entry!
Different this Year: Campaign Visits & Pledging in Person!
This year, we’ve been inviting everyone to make their annual pledge in person during their capital campaign visit. Thank you to the more than 100 members who have already made their pledges for both the capital and annual campaigns!
A capital campaign visit is an opportunity to meet in person with a campaign volunteer for 30-45 minutes to talk about the church and our exciting plans. When you receive your invitation for a visit, please respond with an enthusiastic “yes, let’s meet!” These are friendly conversations; we encourage generosity, but with no pressure! We trust that each of us will decide on a gift that reflects our commitment to the church and what we can afford to give.
To schedule your capital campaign visit, stop by the table in the social hall this Sunday. There will also be an opportunity on Pledge Day to schedule your campaign visit.
If you’d like to have your capital campaign visit at church, there will be opportunities this Sunday, April 23 (before, during and after services), as well as on Pledge Day. We want to make this an easy and fun process!
We know Pledge Day is quickly approaching – if your campaign visit doesn’t happen before April 26, your pledge card will be available for you at church on Pledge Day so that you can make your annual pledge.
It is crucial that we continue to fund the near term operating needs of the church, even as we envision our future and begin to build it.
Thank you for your generosity and support of this church community!
