Restore, Reclaim, Remember
On Sunday, Sept. 13, Rev. Ruth spoke about listening to the still small voice within, remembering who we are, and who we are called to be. She spoke about church as a community of “remembering,” in a culture that would have us forget. This Sunday, in the spirit of Yom Kippur – of reviewing and remembering the past in order to make amends and seek atonement – we deepen this exploration of remembering, and how remembering might help us reclaim and restore our collective humanity.
