Climbing Down, Falling Up
We often ask children, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” If the mystics are right, perhaps we should rephrase the question: “What are you discovering as you climb down into who you are?” Conversely, we might ask adults, “How has falling, or failing been a way up into new life?” In the spiritual journey, our sense of direction is not always accurate. On this Water Communion Sunday, we explore the spiritual directions of life, and celebrate our lives together with gathering water from up, down, and all around.
This Sunday, Sept. 13, we return to two services at 9:30 a.m. & 11:15 a.m. and celebrate Water Communion Sunday. Please bring a small jar of water for this beautiful multi-generational Sunday service.
