The Accountant processes pledges and other contributions and maintains donor records. Pays vendors and processes all reimbursements to congregants and staff. Prepares bank deposits and remits offering plate collections to designated outside organizations.

Bree grew up in Appleton, WI, and moved to Ashland, WI, to attend Northland College (an environmental liberal arts college and one of Bree’s favorite places in the world), where she completed a B.A. in Environmental History. After graduation, Bree moved to Bronxville, NY, to complete an M.A. in Women’s History at Sarah Lawrence College. After completing her Master’s Degree, Bree moved to the United Kingdom, where she volunteered and worked in several different parts of England and Wales, including a year-long stint as the Assistant Manager at YHA St. Briavels Castle, a youth hostel and residential education center housed in an 800-year-old Norman Castle. Most recently, Bree lived in Duluth, MN, where she was the Tour Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at Glensheen Mansion until she moved to Minneapolis in late 2013. In her free time, Bree enjoys spending time with friends, running, reading, learning to cook new things, homebrewing and being entertained by the antics of her intelligently mischievous cat, Evie.

Chelsea has spent the majority of her life in the Twin Cities, having grown up on the East Side of St. Paul, and now resides in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis. She has worked for a variety of customer service and office jobs including, but not limited to, a skincare and spa facility, an insurance brokerage, and the Nicollet Mall Macy’s. She is ecstatic to now be imparting her skills and knowledge to First Universalist. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys dancing to pop hits of the 60s & 70s, singing and playing the ukulele, and serving as the auxiliary tambourine player for the Brian Just Band!

Jenn Stromberg grew up in the Twin Cities area and has lived in Minneapolis since 2006. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, and graduated with a B.A. in Scandinavian Studies & Swedish and a minor in Peace Studies. She has worked in nonprofits since graduating, including a seven-year stint managing marketing and communications at the American Swedish Institute. In her free time, she enjoys live music, biking around the lakes, and attending arts and cultural events in the Twin Cities. Jenn enjoys helping share the great stories, news, and happenings at First Universalist via the website, Weekly Liberal, social media, and other communications channels.

Andrea joined the staff of First Universalist in summer 2015 in the newly-created position of Finance Specialist, supporting the financial side of the membership area. She recently moved to Minneapolis from her hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She received her B.A. in Communication and her B.S. in Environmental, Soil, and Water Science from the University of Arkansas in 2014 and plans to pursue a graduate degree in public health. When she is not working, Andrea enjoys hanging out with her cats, advocating for social justice, and eating guacamole. She is still unsure about how she will survive Minnesota winters. Andrea is tremendously excited to join the First Universalist staff and welcomes congregants to contact her with questions about their pledges.

The Facilities Manager works with the day-to-day operations of the building, including tenant relations. Supervises cleaning staff. Reports to the Director of Finance and Administration. Groups that work with Facility Manager: Building and Grounds, Gardening Committee, and SPIFF.
The Senior Custodian cleans all areas of the building and ensures that restrooms are properly stocked. Straightens the Sanctuary on Sundays and assists in the kitchen as needed. Reports to the Facilities Manager.
