In this week’s newsletter, Rev. Justin Schroeder writes:
Dear Church Members and Friends,
For the past six months, we’ve been running the Capital Campaign and the Annual Pledge Campaign together. We have been visiting one-on-one with as many members and friends as possible, and during the visits, we’ve asked folks to make both their one-year annual gift and their five-year capital gift.
We are now unhooking the two campaigns, so you can make your annual gift even if you haven’t yet had your Capital Campaign visit. We are still hoping to visit with everyone about the Capital Campaign, but we need to get the Annual Gifts in for our 2017-2018 budget which will be approved at our Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 4. Time is of the essence!
We’ve just mailed out the Annual Pledge cards to everyone. When you receive this packet , please return your Annual Pledge as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, June 2. You can also call the church to make your annual pledge over the phone, if that’s easier for you.
Your annual gift supports our vibrant and growing faith community, including our children and youth, adults and elders, and our many justice efforts.
Together, we help our ministry thrive, as we welcome, affirm, and protect the light in each human heart, as we listen deeply to where love is calling us next, and as, with humility, courage, and compassion, we act for justice in the world.
Thank you for your support and generosity of your faith community!
