Come experience The Great Gathering, an evening of fellowship and fundraising, on Saturday, April 23 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at First Universalist Church of Minneapolis!
Join us for a catered dinner, drinks, music, a live auction, and a chance to sign up for Great Gathering experiences. All proceeds from this event will support First Universalist’s social justice and youth ministry work and the new pulpit.
Tickets ($40 each) are available in the Social Hall between services and can also be purchased online at http://greatgathering2016.bpt.me. The event is open to the public and ticket scholarships are available. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Host a Great Gathering
Great Gatherings are parties, events, or activities that are hosted by a member of our community – someone like you! You choose the kind of party or gathering it will be – from a formal dinner to a game night, educational event to a romp in the woods – and decide where and when it will take place. We’ll sell spots at the event on April 23. Please submit your Great Gathering no later than Tuesday, April 12. Complete the Great Gathering Submission form (available here) and email it to email@example.com or drop it off in the church office.
Donate cash or an item for the live auction
We are still looking for a few fabulous items for the live auction. Do you have a cabin or timeshare? Do you have celebrity connections we can leverage to create an intimate, one of a kind experience? We always welcome cash donations. If you can’t attend but would love to support our fundraising efforts, please let us know by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Buy an ad in the Event Program
Advertise your business while supporting the church at the same time! Ad space is available in the Event Program, a full-color catalogue of items available for participants to bid on, schedule of the evening’s events and dinner menu details. It is a must-have for all event attendees! Please see the Ad Placement Form (available here) for ad specs, pricing, and other details. Ads are due by Friday, April 1.
An evening like this requires a little heavy lifting and lot of volunteers to make the load lighter. Would you like to take or sell tickets; help serve dinner; set-up or clean-up? The jobs are almost endless. Please email us (email@example.com) or see us in the Social Hall for more details.
