Through Daytime Connections, older adults empower each other to live intentional, joyful, purposeful, and spiritually fulfilled lives. The dropping of the nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was devastating and viewed in retrospect by many as a travesty and mistake. However, it led to several courageous examples of peacemaking from those wounded by this horrific event.
Church member Caren Stelson will share stories of several courageous people who found healing and peace after experiencing the trauma of war. Can major life challenges help us define our life’s purpose and make peace with what happened?
